My involvement with The Clay Studio began in the 1980's while working with Helen Drutt Gallery on TCS first American Clay Artists exhibitions in 1983 and 1985. My first official jobs for TCS were subsequently as project coordinator for ACA'89 and Clay in Phila '92/ NCECA conference. My relationship with TCS then changed from organizing and administrating to concentrate on my own studio work after being accepted as TCS Resident Artist/Instructor (and Board rep) from 1993-98.
After my residency concluded, I became Coordinator for Old City Arts Ass'n (1999-2008) where I continued to work closely with TCS in their prominent membership role in OCArts and First Fridays events.
My relationship with TCS continues today, mostly through my current business offering Ceramic Restoration services. It's difficult to think of any part of my life that has not been affected in some way, indeed in many quite significant ways, through my long-time association with the ever-evolving Clay Studio and the wonderful people I've gotten to know over the years.
