Robin Williams-Turnage is an artist with many talents and has been an award-winning student at Fleisher and a teacher in the Adult, Teen Lounge, and the Saturday Young Artists Program for many years.
Presently, in her work, she chooses to focus on ceramics. Robin is currently an Associate Artist at The Clay Studio as well as a teacher of Traditional Nigerian and Ghanaian Pottery with Jihan Thomas at Fleisher Art Memorial.
Robin’s art has always reflected an African aesthetic. Currently, she is producing porcelain tableware with an African influence.
Robin has exhibited her work more actively in recent years in places like the gallery at The Clay Studio, Fleisher Art Memorial, The Colored Girls Museum, Perkins Art Center, Grounds for Sculpture, The Philadelphia Airport, Ultra Silk Gallery, and The Drummond Art Legacy.
