Guest Artist Project with Delvin Goode
Design a handmade tile using stencils created by Guest Artist, Delvin Goode. Watch Delvin in action as he uses his custom stencils to create playful and energetic surfaces. The Clay Studio will glaze, fire, and have your tile ready to pick up in a few weeks.
Guest Artist Project with Michael Clemmons
Watch and learn from Associate Artist Michael Clemmons as he works on one of his ceramic sculptures, which often reference cultural and West African symbols and personal iconography.
Raku Firing
Lead by Mobile Raku Artist Brett Thomas, you will glaze a bottle form made by teaching artist Paul Serena and then watch the magic happen as it is Raku fired right before your eyes and available to be taken home with you that day! Quantities are limited, but watch & participate in the process all day!
Clay Necklaces with Nitza Walesca
Create a necklace with beads and clay pendants by teaching artist Nitza Walesca. Quantities are limited
Wheel Throwing 101
Try your hand at throwing on the potter’s wheel with one-on-one guidance from our teaching artists and community. Your pot will be glazed, fired, and ready for pick up in a few weeks.
Clay Animation
Create and animate clay characters using the art of stop motion. One person or a group can create characters, a storyline and bring your creations to life.
Flower Powered Bowls
Inspired by summertime blooms, transform a clay slab into a flower bowl designed by you! Your bowl will be glazed, fired, and ready to pick up in a few weeks.
Clay, Play, Read
Join the Claymobile team for a sensory play-based activity exploring the book The Day You Begin by Jacqueline Woodson. Best suited for children ages 3-6.
Succulent Planter Pinch Pots
Make an itty-bitty pinch pot planter perfect for your favorite succulent planting. Your planter will be fired ready to pick up in a few weeks.
Picture Perfect
Decorate a handmade picture frame for your favorite photo!
Group Sculpt: 50th Birthday Celebration
Help turn 1,000 pounds of clay into an inspiring collaborative work of art inspired by The Clay Studio’s 50th Anniversary!

12PM - 3PM: Screen Printing Tote bags with Second State Press
12PM-2:30PM: Dani Dobkin and Matt Sargent are on an east tour in support of "Bend," out now on Waveform Alphabet. This performance exemplifies the movement of time and the decomposition of unfired clay.
3PM - 5PM: Performance by MINAS
Brazilian music duo featuring Orlando Haddad and Patricia King
12 PM - 5 PM: Face painting with Golden Brownie Art
12 PM - 3 PM: A Hands-On Ice Cream Social
Enjoy ice cream provided by Mister Softee. Free ice cream quantities are limited.
3 PM - 5 PM: Get expert advice on succulent planting ideas and care with Jessica from Bucks County Flowers & Things.
