The 19th annual Small Favors Exhibition
Apr 10th - Jun 29th, 2025
In 2025, we are excited to present the 19th anniversary of this beloved exhibition. Among almost 400 small artworks displayed in 4-inch cubes, you will find big ideas, individuality, and material awareness. A few years ago, we invited artists outside the ceramic world to participate to celebrate that this truly is an exhibition for everyone. Most works are examples of small ceramic artworks ranging from tiny mugs to intricate sculptures.
If you are looking for your or a particular artist's work, please select "View All" under the Featured Works section and use Command+F. Once the search bar appears at the top right of your screen, type in the artist's name to bring you to their work. Please note that artists' works may not all be grouped together.
Artists in Small Favors range from the most established ceramic artists to young artists new to the field. Small Favors engages artists' creativity in new and exciting ways with the challenge of making pieces on a small scale. Some artists' work is similar to what they usually do but at a reduced scale. Others use it to break away from what they create in their daily studio practice. There is an open call each year for juried work and a group of invited artists who participate. This year, we have artworks from Japan, China, Budapest, and other places around the United States.
This range of artists allows us to present works in a broad price range, from $35 to $3,500. We hope this encourages people to become collectors and established collectors who have limited space.
