High-quality exhibitions depend on funding to support the artists, curatorial research, gallery design, and installation costs. The Clay Studio Exhibition Fund was launched in 2022 to ensure our work continues at the highest level.

The Clay Studio has established a reputation for mounting thought-provoking, high-quality exhibitions that address cutting-edge issues facing the art world. Through these lauded shows, we exhibit the work of highly talented and respected ceramic artists like Magdalene Odundo, Kukuli Velarde, and Ruan Hoffmann from across the globe. Our reputation as a leader in presenting high quality exhibitions began in the 1980’s and today, we continue that tradition with our recent exhibitions garnering major grant awards from important foundations and attention from the press, scholars, and artists worldwide.

Your support ensures an equitable program that is able to provide funding for artists to make and ship their work, visitor-centered gallery design, and meaningful exhibition discourse with support for co-curators and our Exhibition Council. The Council was initiated in 2020 as a major component of our Community Supported Exhibition Design, a process that we believe is at the forefront of best practices in the field of exhibitions and museums.
